Nine years into Esse, we found ourselves returning to something familiar. The softness. The ease. The fluidity of our Cloud signatures.
But rather than recreate what had come before, we wanted to ask what these pieces could become now.
So we revisited their proportions, considered the way each piece falls against the body, and reimagined familiar silhouettes in Modal — creating a collection that feels light, fluid and quietly assured.
Because becoming does not always mean becoming someone new.
Sometimes, it is simply growing more fully into yourself.

The feeling of Modal
Modal begins with beech wood pulp. But its story becomes much more immediate when you wear it.
The weight — or almost absence of it, softness against skin and the fluid drape. The way it follows the body rather than restricting it.
We spent longer on the cut than we expected to. Each proportion, fall and line was considered to give the fabric room to do what it does best: drape, move and softly shape around the body.
