Esse Repairs
We’re happy to look at any Esse item that needs repair to see if it’s something we can fix. We don’t charge for most repairs, but more complicated mending and repairs may be subject to a repair fee.
Please make sure your item is clean before handing it off to us or mailing it in or the item will be returned to you to wash.
Each Esse repair is assessed on a case by case basis. Email us for repair advice at customercare@essethelabel.com.
In the email, please include your order no., photos of your Esse garment and a short description of what needs to be repaired, including photos of your garment.
Once we have received your repair request, we will advise whether it can be repaired and provide you with more information on how to send your garment back to us.
If you choose to send in your repair for an evaluation, we ask that you cover the shipping cost. Please opt for tracked shipping.
The repair work and the return shipping (within Singapore) are covered by us in most cases.
As each Esse repair is assessed on a case-by-case basis, we will advise if a fee will be charged when evaluating your garment.
We will send your item back without the repair if we are unable to repair your garment.
Please note that all repairs are done by hand and may require up to 3-4 weeks for completion.
This service applies to Esse garments only and excludes tailoring and alterations. All garments must be clean and are subject to evaluation prior to accepting the repair.
We are only able to repair minor damages. This includes repairing seams, broken stitching, small holes or tears, and replacing buttons when available.
We may offer visible mending for larger rips or stains. This method of using hand-sewing is about valuing and extending the life of the garment by not only strengthening it, but taking the time to make it beautiful as well. This service is bespoke for a small fee.
